Under the guidance and overall supervision of the Advisory council of the Management Education Centre, the faculty revolves around the notion that world class business leaders are not mass produced; they are developed in a practical, action oriented environment, which enables them to learn the craft of leadership. The faculty members stay in touch with management realities through their extensive field-based research, training and consulting activities.

Professor (Dr.)Aloke Kumar Sen B.Sc.,LL.B, MBA, Ph.D.(Business Administration).
Prior to joining as Director (MEC), Professor Sen was Director, School of Management Sciences, BengalEngineering & ScienceUniversity, Shibpur for four years. Before that Dr. Sen was with EIILMBusinessSchool as Associate Professor, Professor & Dean, MBA Programme for eight years. Dr. Sen started his career with MDI Gurgaon as research scholar andsuccessivly positions held as Faculty Associate& Assistant Professor in the area of HRM/HRD for almost two decades. He has made significant contribution at MDI in the areas of research, training, consultancy and teaching in long term programmes. Professor Sen is a visiting scolar to J. L. Kellogg Graduate of School of Management, USA. He has designed and directed numerous Management Development Programmes for Managers/Officials of Public and Private Sector Enterprises, Financial Institutions & Banks. He has been associated with the consultancy assignments/ studies/ MDPs with various organizations like NLC/ NTPC/BEL/BHEL/ONGC/ SAIL/ DVC /HZL/ UPSEB/ NAFED/ MPSTDC/ IOC/CIL/MODI XEROX/CESC/ WELCOMGROUP etc. Dr. Sen is the author of two books and published over twenty seven articles in journals of repute. He is life member ofISTD & Associate member of NIPM. Currently, six research scholars are carrying out their doctoral research work under Dr. Sen. Five Scholars are registered with BESUS, out of which two have already been submitted their thesis and awarded Ph.D degrees and one scholar has registered with BIT,Meshra, Ranchi.
