An eminent personality in academic arena having more than 42 years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration in institutions of repute; published around 15 research papers in various National & International journals. A former Professor and Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Calcutta; a pioneer in the development of engineering and technological education in West Bengal, he was the founder Director of Haldia Institute of Technology till 1999 and also served as the Director (Academic), B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, Kolkata. He is a member of Undergraduate / Post Graduate Faculty Council of Vidyasagar University & Burdwan University and a member of the Academic Council of the West Bengal University of Technology.
Prof. (Dr.) Dulal Chandra Ray,ME(CU)-Gold Medallist,Ph.D.(IIT), Joint Director
A former Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur (formerly B.E.College), Prof. Ray is having more than 28 years of experience in teaching at UG and PG levels as also consultancy and sponsored research experience of 14 years. He was published around 20 research papers in various National and International journals and is an expert attached to different regulatory authirities like UGC, AICTE, and various Universities and Institutions of higher learning viz, JU, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and the like.

A Former Professor & Head, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering as also Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Architecture & TRP, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur(formerly B.E. College), Prof. Biswas is Having about 35 years of experience in teaching at UG and PG levels.He is an eminent scholar and has published more than 60 research papers in various National and International journals as well as 4 text books for graduate students in the field of Electronics. He also served the Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata as Director(Academic) for one year.
Prof. (Dr.) Tapan Chakraborti, Ph.D., Director, Computer Application Centre
Prof.(Dr.) Tapan Chakraborti has 25 years of Industrial experience in India and abroad including 12 years as head of Systems Department in MNC's. Dr.Chakraborti has Research as well as Working experience in live data acquisition and processing for plant automation.
He was associated with his alma matter IIT,Kharagpur as adjunct Professor for few years. Prof.Chakraborti was HOD(IT) of HIT for five years.
