MBA Course Structure
MBA course is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
The Institute is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).
Heritage Institute of Technology looks forward to MBAs capable of managing business operations efficiently. The Eastern India is now experiencing an economic resurgence, where MBAs will play a vital role in managing business organizations with enterprising skills. West Bengal lags behind other states in establishing B-Schools. In view of above, the trustees of the Kalyan Bharti Trust decided to establish a state-of-the-art B-school at Kolkata.
The curriculum of the MBA(Day) programme is as follows:
First Semester : 8 Compulsory Courses (32 credits)
Second Semester : 8 Compulsory Courses (32 credits)
Third Semester : 2 Compulsory, 4 Electives, Project (32 credits)
Fourth Semester : 2 Compulsory, 4 Electives, Viva Voce (32 credits)
Total 28 Courses (20 Compulsory, 8 Electives and Project Work for 8 Weeks).
The curriculum of the MBA(Evening) programme is as follows:
First Semester : 5 Compulsory Courses (20 credits)
Second Semester : 5 Compulsory Courses (20 credits)
Third Semester : 5 Compulsory Courses (20 credits)
Fourth Semester : 5 Compulsory Courses (20 credits)
Fifth Semester : 4 Electives, Project (24 credits)
Sixth Semester : 4 Electives, Viva Voce (24 credits)
