B. Tech Course
B.Tech. courses are duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
The Institute is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).
To meet the growing demand of technical manpower and in view of fiscal constraints at the government level, the Kalyan Bharti Trust decided to supplement the State government’s efforts in setting up new engineering colleges by establishing the Heritage Institute of Technology in September 2001. The institute is currently offering the following six B.Tech courses:
For the following programs, there is a provision of (i) 5% supernumerary seats under TFW category in the 1st year and (ii) Lateral Entry of Diploma Holders in Engineering/Technology and B.Sc. Degree holders in the 2nd year with an additional intake of 20% of the approved intake.
