Whereby we take an opportunity to introduce ourselves as one of the leading engineering colleges in eastern part of India. HIT was set up by a group of Kolkata based eminent Industrialists renowned public figures in the eastern fringes of Kolkata. The foundation behind HIT is Kalyan Bharti Trust. The mission of this trust is to promote education, to nourish the students with rich cultural heritage of India.

Kalyan Bharti Trust has set up a Heritage School in 2001 where the future of India is being set up. Kalyan Bharti Trust comprises of a Board Of Trustees where top conglomerate of Industrialists, Political figures, and Educationalists are involved.

All the Courses are offered by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi & the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. It is affiliated to the West Bengal University Of Technology.

HIT consists of Training & Placement Cell for the students to place them in Big & Leading Industries & Organizations. It has an efficient infrastructure supported by a state-of the-art learning environment.

Heritage Institute Of Technology provides air-conditioned facilities including an auditorium, seminar hall etc. for pre-placement talk or other events.
