Applications are invited from needy and meritorious students of this Institute for award of full-free / half-free studentship for the odd semester (July 2010 – December 2010). Eligibility criteria for consideration of the award are as follows :
a)Full-free studentship : A BPL card holder / total annual family income from all sources not exceeding Rs.96,000/- per annum
b)Half-free studentship: Annual family income from all sources not exceeding Rs.1,20,000/- per annum.
N.B : For the purpose of granting such studentship, an officer of the State Govt. in the rank of Joint B.D.O. and above in the districts/their equivalent counterparts in Kolkata Metropolitan Area will be competent to issue income certificate, as notified by the Govt. of West Bengal vide G.O. No.363-Edn(T) dated 18.06.2007.
Interested students are required to apply in the prescribed format duly filled in and submitted along with the following testimonials by 30th July, 2010 at the latest to the Office of the Director, AdministrativeBuilding.

Students are directed to note that all free-studentships are granted and renewed every semester subject to REGULAR ATTENDANCE, GOOD CONDUCT AND GOOD ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE.
