The Heritage Institute of Technology Student's Council was established with a view to serve as a platform for the needs and concerns of all students. The constitution of the council states that "Every bona fide student of HIT-K shall be a member of the council", and so it is. All of us, the students of Heritage come together to form this family which embides in body and spirit with true essence of constructive education.

 

The council not only organizes sports and cultural activities but also works on issues that concern the overall development of the college. The elected students' council helps to create an atmosphere which is conducive for improved teaching learning process and overall intellectual satisfaction of students.

 

The Heritage Institute of Technology has come a long way since its inception and today it's truly a HERITAGE that the nation can be proud of. The students' council is truly honoured to be a part of this evolutionary process and we sincerely wish that the students' council along with HIT will keep on scaling new heights every time.

 

The Students' Council organizes various events which involve a huge number of participation from the students. It organizes a Techno cum Management fest "DAKSHH" and a Cultural Festival "ECLECIA". The council also organizes and Annual Sports Meet. Various clubs are functional under the council which organizes intra and inter events round the year. Quiz, debate, photography, dramatics and social service are some of the fields which these clubs cover.
